Silas Tanner was the Crimson Dyna Ranger, and father to Violet Dyna Ranger, and one of the original Dyna-Saur Rangers. Silas was the owner of the Allosaurus DynaCell and had the powers of the Crimson Dyna Ranger until an injury forced him to retire. It took his daughter a while to convince him to allow her to become a Dyna-Saur Ranger.
