Jodi Matthews was a clinic patient in the Season 1 episode Occam's Razor. She was portrayed by actress Lauren Cohn. Jodi comes to the clinic and is seen by Gregory House. She says her mucous is a funny color, but House sizes her up and realizes she has brand new eyeglasses and fresh dental work. He figures she fears she will be fired soon and is taking full advantage of her health insurance. He confronts her about it, telling her she knows she's not really sick. She hesitates and he tells her to relax. He orders a full battery of tests including a full body scan so any disease she might have will still be treated under her current insurance.
