Pururu is a character in Sgt. Frog (also known as Keroro Gunso). Chief Medic Pururu (プルル看護長Pururu Kangochō) appears in the series as the most recent and only female member of the Garuru Platoon, a chief medic and expert nurse, and a childhood friend to Keroro, Giroro, and Dororo. She has an energetic, down-to-earth, and somewhat strict and stubborn personality, but is also nonviolent and mature, unlike most of the major characters of the series. She graduated from the Keron Military Academy at the same time as her childhood friends Keroro, Giroro, and Dororo. Pururu is also sometimes referred to as obaa-chan which means old lady despite her still having a tail.
