Lucien Calvert was the father of Ernie Calvert, the great-grandfather of Norrie Calvert, and a resident of Chester's Mill, Maine. He served in the military and died during the Korean War, earning a posthumous Silver Star for heroic action. A statue of Calvert stands in War Memorial Plaza in Chester's Mill, along with the names of the town's other "war dead, going all the way back to the Civil War, ...engraved on the statue's base."
