The RGIR27E features a Nitro Wizard-7 neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, double-locking tremolo bridge, dual EMG active humbucking pickups and a kill switch. Variants also introduced in 2013 included the RGIR27FE (which is essentially the RGIR27E's twin, except with a hard-tail bridge), the 6-string RGIR20E and its fixed bridge version RGIR20FE along with an 8-string RGIR28FE. A 28" scale length 6-string, the RGIB6, was added the following year.
