The 2008 Pocono 500 was a Sprint Cup Series event held at Pocono Raceway on June 8, 2008. Pit strategy kept the race jumbled up for most of the middle portions of the race, but in the end it was polesitter Kasey Kahne reclaiming the lead and driving to a 3.7 second victory on Brian Vickers. Points leader Kyle Busch, who completed all three national series races during the weekend despite the fact that they were all at different tracks, crashed early in the race and finished last - 43rd.
