Bishop Maellas is one of the main characters in Marsheila Rockwell's novel, Legacy of Wolves. He is an elf and is thought of someone who does not particularly like shifters. He has served the Church of the Silver Flame for 200+ years. He is described in the book as: having "white robes and white-blond hair ... tinted with rainbow hues from the windows. Blues and purples slashed across his chest, green and yellow swirls covered the lower half of his face, and his eyes were painted a disconcerting crimson."
