White Storms were violent, explosive weather formations which formed out in Open Sky and sometimes passed over the Edge. Quint faded away into a white storm while becalmed inside the Mother Storm, and the same weather formation created an explosion which destroyed the Edgedancer and blew Twig and his crew back to the Edge.
