In 2263, the crew of the late USS Enterprise piloted the 22nd century USS Franklin through Yorktown's inner-space lanes and into Yorktown Central Plaza, colliding with three of Krall's ships in an effort to end his attack on the base. Following the incident, the Franklin came to a rest, crashed in Yorktown Central Plaza. (Star Trek Beyond)
