Krikor was Sergei's sergeant in Bulola. An Armenian, Krikor was nearing the end of his term as a conscript when, during a battle with Mujahideen fighters, he and the rest of the Soviet garrison were incinerated by a dragon that had long slumbered in the mountains outside the city.
