Dr. Caspar Hewett is the chair of . He has over fifteen years of research experience in academia and industry and has taught and lectured a variety of subjects including mathematics, numerical methods, philosophy of science, environmental issues and English as a Foreign language. He has been a member of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Peer Review College since July 2005 and was a NESTA Crucible Awardee 2006. His current activities include consultancy work for the Environment Agency; lecturing in market research techniques, mathematics for engineers and engineering ethics for Newcastle University; and development of the North East
