The 1969 Rebel 400 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Darlington Speedway on May 10, 1969. Bobby Allison appeared to be on his way to victory, but a late crash ruined his chances. Instead LeeRoy Yarbrough led just eight laps in route to a one-lap victory on Cale Yarborough. Eventual season champ David Pearson finished 5th.
