Beta Centauri is a double star in the constellation Centaurus, that forms one of the points in the Southern Cross constellation. Located 525 light years from Sol, it is the furthest known UNSC-colonized system. The system is known for exports and a good vintage of champagne. It is unknown what other roles this colony played during its existence, or if it was even a battleground, or if the colony was at all glassed.
