"Backseat Drivers from Beyond the Stars" is the 21st episode of Invader Zim, and also the first episode produced for the show's second season. However, due to the show's cancellation, it and the other episodes completed for the season (with the exception of "The Most Horrible X-Mas Ever") were not aired on Nickelodeon in the United States, instead being released on the Horrible Holiday Cheer DVD before finally making their televised debut on the Nicktoons Network two years afterward.
