Southern Comfort is a 1981 film directed by Walter Hill. It stars Keith Carradine and Powers Boothe. The story follows a group of undisciplined Louisiana Army National Guardsmen who are training in the Louisiana swamps. After the soldiers steal some pirogues, they end up frightening and angering local Cajun hunters.
