Nirvana is an alternative rock/grunge band based out of Aberdeen, Washington. They no longer perform as their frontman Kurt Cobain killed himself on April 4th, 1994, effectively ending Nirvana's career. The last line up of Nirvana included Kurt Cobain (vocals and guitar), Krist Novoselic (bass guitar), and Dave Grohl (drums and backup vocals).
