Elphas the Unsteady is an ancient warlock and the first Downworlder that Jonathan Shadowhunter directly interacted with. His friendship with Jonathan Shadowhunter set a precedent that lasted more than four hundred years. He is said to be the brother of Baba Agnieszka.
