Edmund Blackadder, Lord Blackadder was a nobleman, a courtier to Queen Elizabeth I, the main character in the second series and the second Blackadder shown in the series. Edmund is the great-grandson of Prince Edmund, the first Black Adder, however rather than it being a title Edmund is the first of many in his family to be shown having the Black Adder as his last name. He later became the Lord High Executioner and Minister for Religious Genocide.
