Spike Lizards are enemies encountered in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure. They resemble frill-necked lizards with burning spikes on their frill and head, so Crash can only defeat them by using his slide kick. If he uses any other movement, he will get hurt. They also have an artificial eye. When in proximity they make a hissing sound. In Cortex Strikes Back, they appear in Road to Ruin, Ruination, Night Fight and Totally Fly. In The Huge Adventure, they appear in Ruined and Down the Hole.
