Nimbretril was a forest of Birchwood in Arvernien at the Havens of Sirion in the southwestern Beleriand. Eärendil used the birchwood from these woods as timber in the construction of Vingilot, the Foam-flower. It was also mentioned in a song written by Bilbo called the Song of Eärendil.
