Charlie Blanton (December 29, 1935 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Gaffney, SC. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Blanton's debut came in 1973, when he competed at Charlotte. It was a solid day for the driver, starting 19th and running near the front before a late engine failure set him back to 20th. Blanton's next start came in 1974, again competing for Doc Faustina, but this time at Rockingham. Starting 27th in the field, Blanton lost his clutch halfway through the event but still managed an okay 28th place finish.
