The USS Dauntless (NCC-01) was an NX class ship in the 22nd century. It was originally the Enterprise (NX-01), but renamed and oufitted with a new warp 7 engine. It served with distinction until 2238 when it was placed in the Starfleet Museum. Another USS Dauntless was built in 2365 in honor of the original.
