LittleBigPlanet 3 is the third main video game for the LittleBigPlanet series developed by Sumo Digital (a departure from the original developer Media Molecule, although they assisted in the development of the game) and was published by Sony Computer Entertainment for both the PlayStation 3 & PlayStation 4. The game includes a variety of new features and additions to the series as well as a new engine that improves the quality of levels on the PlayStation 4 version. The game was officially announced on June 9, 2014 at the E3 press conference, where a trailer and a demo were previewed.
