HFI produced swathers. hay balers and other hay equipment under the Hesston, Case IH, and later AGCO-Allis for sale in America, New Idea, Massey Ferguson, Challenger Equipment and AGCO brands after the complete sale to AGCO. In 2000, as Case IH was looking to merge with New Holland, AGCO offered to buy Case IH's 50% interest in HFI, and they accepted. The company was renamed as part of AGCO, and the Case IH line of hay equipment was discontinued in 2001.
