Brainlessness is an instadeath caused by mind flayers. Mind flayers have brain-sucking tentacles that lower the player's intelligence. When intelligence drops below 3, the player dies. Creatures without heads are at a significant advantage. Mind flayers may also cause amnesia with their attack.
