Sylix was a Vulcan male in the mid 24th century. Sometime before 2354, he was married to a Human woman named Antigone Chen, and in that year fathered a daughter, T'Ryssa. Sylix and Chen divorced circa 2356, and the mother kept custody of their daughter. (TNG novel: Greater Than the Sum)
