Kathleen Ernst is an author of historical books for children and young adults. She has a Masters of Arts degree in History Education and Writing and has worked as a Civil War interpreter and at the Old World Wisconsin History Site. She wrote three History Mysteries for American Girl and now writes Historical Character Mysteries.
