Infintriar made its anime debut in the final episodes of Pokémon Alpha and Omega, a TV series based on the games Pokémon Alpha Version and Pokémon Omega Version. It is mentioned several times by the evil Team Apocalypse beforehand. As the show follows the general plotline of the games, Infintriar is awakened by Team Apocalypse after the Key of Beginnings and Lock of Endings fuse to create the Door to Judgment, but not before Januaron and Decembrewcus are awakened as well. Just like in the games, Infintriar is calmed by the protagonists (Ash and friends in the anime) and takes Team Apocalypse's leader back with it through the Door to Judgment, never to be seen again.
