The young Archaeologist was a member of a group of students belonging to the Weatherfield Amateur Archaeological Society who came to the allotments to dig them over after Tim Metcalfe reported that he had found some ancient pottery on his patch. In truth, the items had come from a skip outside a theatre and had been planted by the wily Tim on the allotment that had given to him the day before by Sally Metcalfe and was his way to avoid having to dig over the much-unwanted turf himself.
