Unofficially, she is a member of the Omega Force, a highly-trained team of Starfleet officers whose primary mission is to handle cases involving the Omega molecule and other matters where a fully-crewed starship is inappropriate. (Star Trek: Omega Force) T'Vara is a descendant of Soval, the Vulcan ambassador who, along with Earth Starfleet Captain Jonathan Archer of the Enterprise (NX-01), helped usher in the downfall of the Vulcan High Command in the Earth year 2154.
