Colonel Nigel Tremaine was a member of the Army of the Southern Cross originally from Britain. Prior to the Second Robotech War, he was assigned to a base in Africa with "The Misfits". After new recruit Madalyne Hyser arrived, the Robotech Masters arrived. Their waste disposal destroyed the base's transmitter. Colonel Tremaine was a stickler for formality. Brian Steir had not heard of why Colonel Tremaine had been assigned to the base.
