Michel Legrand (born February 24, 1932 in Paris) is a French musical composer, arranger, conductor, and pianist of Armenian descent. Legrand has composed more than two hundred film and television scores, several musicals, and made well over a hundred albums. For Smurf fans, he was responsible for the musical score in the "non-canonical" Smurf animated movie known as "The Smurfs And The Magic Flute"
