Game of the Year is a Board 8 contest created by Zachnorn. He began it with 1980, and covered only up to 1982. Dr. Pizza, who's best known on Board 8 for inventing Board 8 Baseball, has took over Game of the Year because Zachorn didn't continue doing it. One GotY will be awarded for every year from 1971 to 2007. Zachnorn also tried it again in 2009, and plans to do it again in 2010.
