Rogelio Duran was a guide who helped Dr. Daniel Jackson and Dr. Bill Lee search for Telchak's temple in Honduras in 2003. He, Daniel and Dr. Lee were captured by Raphael, the leader of the rebels who were opposed to the Honduran government. While being led to Raphael's camp, he attempted to escape and was shot by Chalo, one of Raphael's men, and was left for dead. He was later found and rescued by Colonel Jack O'Neill and Agent Burke.
