The Hardlight autocannon is an old ship based weapon that was the backbone of most Forerunner ships. They prove effective against shields more than hulls, but in a fight in 2567 one of these guns proved to slice a CCS Class Battlecruiser in half exactly. The guns are also able to essentially incinerate parts of UNSC ships.
