The sacred edifice will be surrounded by attractive grounds that offer a calming retreat to all San Salvadorians.[1] The San Salvador El Salvador Temple is the first temple to be built in El Salvador and the fourth to be built in Central America. There are approximately 100,000 members of the Church in El Salvador.
