After many unsuccessful failed attempts, Doreen required the help of a fairy, who gave Rick huge ears. However, it backfired as Serena loves big ears. She also uses her magic for personal gain: for example she used an age reversing elixir on herself (this explains why she is an Adult like her daughter). Doreen also is a reference to Penny Halliwell, both dissaproves their daughters' marriage to a mortal/normal person. Doreen would therefore be the second Sim parody of Endora, the first one being Endora Kravitz. Doreen is unemployed at the start of the game and has no skills learned.
