She was supposed to be 3 years older than Donna, and 6 years older than Tina. She is mentioned in the episode Eric's Birthday. Though there were plans to include her in future episodes, the character was never seen. Valerie was phased out as the end result and Donna was referred to as an only child after the episode "Vanstock".
