The JCRG1404 features an African mahogany body with an exotic maple top bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, Gotoh Free Lock II strap pins and Gotoh tuning machines. The JCRG1404 was offered only in 2014 and only a single example of each finish was produced.
