The Guardians of Loyalty, also called LOYAL, is a special operations battalion aligned with the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. Their duty is to fight for honor and justice against a corrupt and dictatorial entity. Their drive is to free themselves from the Empire's supposed treachery solidifies them as more than a band of individuals; it instills a sense of brotherhood amongst them and binds their motives to what they see as something worth guarding. They speak of themselves as the edge of the Alliance blade, a thorn in the side of Imperial conquest, and a call to arms for all who wishes to live in a free and uncorrupt galaxy.
