They somewhat resemble BakuTech pieces. They 'snap', or attach onto a Bakugan. They attach to Baku Sky Raiders. The only Baku Sky Raiders so far that come with them are Fusion Dragonoid (30 Gs and 30 Gs or 30 Gs and 70 Gs or 30 Gs and 40 Gs) and Reptak (70 Gs and 20 Gs and rarely 70 Gs with 30 Gs).
