The slogan "Forward Momentum" was used by both the Dendarii Free Mercenary Fleet and by Miles Naismith Vorkosigan himself. In the case of the Dendarii, it was based upon the mercenaries' desire to accomplish their paid job and quickly and efficiently as possible. In the case of Miles himself, "Forward Momentum" was his basic outlook on life, reflecting his hyperactive life and his willingness to accomplish as many things as possible in the shortest time possible.
