The Fuegra region (Japanese: 笛グラム地方 Fue Guramu-chihō) is a region of the Pokémon world. It is the setting of Pokémon Garnet and Amethyst. It is inspired by the real-world state of California. The names of most of the cities in Fuegra are made of two words put together (Bay View, Pacific Cliff, etc.) and involve words from foreign languages. The regional professor of your hometown offers the starter Pokémon from your home region to you as a reminder of your home.
