Project Born is an American hip hop group from Flint, Michigan. In 1994, the group signed to Psychopathic Records on the strength of a demo that they had given to Insane Clown Posse. Psychopathic had originally intended to release the demo as it had been recorded, but Project Born lost the tape, resulting in the group having to record a different EP, titled Born Dead, which was released in 1995, and featured appearances by Insane Clown Posse and Esham. However, the label was not as impressed by the new recording as they had been by the original.
