Not to be confused with Marketing director. Managing directors of Egmont Fleetway were the the highest-authority credited staff at Sonic the Comic. The position was first credited in Issue 120 with Julie Goldsmith in charge, although her name did not make the main group of credits until Issue 129. Goldsmith stayed in this role until Issue 185, when Rob McMenemy took over until the print comic's end. The position is not currently in use for Sonic the Comic Online.
