Bonedancer is an archeopteryx brought back to life by Daine the Wildmage when the Graveyard Hag gave her the power to resurrect the dead. Bonedancer decides to remain alive even after Daine's power went back to the Graveyard Hag and the other skeletons returned to the Peaceful Realms. Bonedancer came back to Tortall with Lindhall Reed and has since been his companion. By 452 HE he is still alive and takes a great interest in the pages, who are taught by Lindhall about plants and animals. He especially likes Keladry of Mindelan. He appears in Emperor Mage and First Test.
