Crack Rock Steady is a music genre that combines ska punk and forms of death metal and similar harsh genres. Many believe it to be a sub-genre of, or at least associated with Ska-core. It is commonly used to describe a wave of bands who all fused a similar sounding combination of Ska Punk, Crust Punk, Death Metal, and occasionally traces of Orchestra in their music around the same time.
