Derek stays at Norris's flat but Mavis convinces herself that he's with Angela. Curly accuses Raquel of being a tease and leading him on. Rita convinces Mavis that Derek can't have been unfaithful. It looks as if they will be reconciled until he discovers she has been entertaining Roger Crompton. Curly and Des make the peace. Curly tells him about the sexual harassment and is sick of the way he's such a failure with women. Derek admits to Norris that he knows Mavis hasn't been unfaithful but his pride gets in the way of accepting her friendship with Roger. Norris tells Mavis that Derek is staying with him but she refuses to believe him. Steve offers Fiona an alternative holiday in Miami. She is outraged and tells him to back off - they don't have anything strong going, just the occasional
