The TIE/Md or Twin Ion Engine Missile Drone was a short run defense fighter line, produced for the Galactic Merchants Union. It combined elements of the TIE Hunter and the V-19 starfighter. It had a TIE styled cockpit, containing a Droid brain, reactor, and engines. A Tri wing system sprouted out from the cockpit, akin to how the wings of a V-19 looked in flight, and like the V-19, the bottom wing folded back when the fighter docked, as the droid docked upside down. The upper two wings contained a laser cannon at their tips, and a rack of 8 missiles, the bottom wing held an Ion Cannon at the tip and a rack containing 8 Heavy Rockets.
