Eddie is often featured in the closing sequences of a show, when the closing theme is played/ sung and the credits roll, in a short vignette generally related to a joke from earlier in the episode. Eddie is ranked seventh on Stan's Top Ten Favorite Dogs he counts down in "The People vs. Martin Sugar". In "A Boy Named Michael", Roger compares himself to Frasier and Stan to Frasier's dad. At that moment, a dog resembling Eddie jumps into Stan's lap for a moment before leaping offscreen again.
